Feel Good Free Rides with Weight and Space
This class will offer a warm-up that activates sensory awareness through floor work and imagery, progressing to standing work, shoulder and hip mobilization, integrating improvisational practices related to weight, flow and space across the floor. Each phase of class will accumulate short movement bytes to create a longer center floor phrase moving into and out of the floor, challenging equilibrium, and offering feel-good, free rides of weight through space.

The principles of José Limon value the inherent expressiveness of the human body through the use of breath and ones relationship to gravity. Class will explore the constant cycle of fall, rebound, and recovery as a means of exploring a courageous and expansive dance with space and weight.

Bruce Wood Dance
Saturday - 9:30am - 11:00am
This class will give dancers a taste of the company's aesthetic with a strong technical foundation as well as Wood's iconic steps and shapes. We will begin class with a ballet barre and progress to center and across the floor to explore the use of weight, resistance, breath and connection to one another through space.

Saturday - 11:30pm - 1:00pm
This class explores contemporary modern vocabulary and technique, focusing on
intricate spatial patterns and full-bodied movement. Utilizing complex rhythms, the class engage in expressive performance qualities. Taught in a non-competitive and supportive environment, this class will leave you energized and uplifted.
Jennifer Mabus
Saturday - 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Drawing from many contemporary forms, the warm up and phrase work will include a focus on the articulation of the spine in relation to the limbs, functional core support, deepening of the understanding of balance and off balance movement, and play with bound versus free qualities. This class will conclude with a choreographic phrase that will encourage individual choices in artistry and expression.
Randall Flinn
Saturday - 4:00pm - 5:30pm
A marvelous fusion of classic modern dance forms, mostly inspired by Graham
technique, and flourishes of contemporary choreographic stylings. This class will also serve as the perfect get on your leg class for all performers!
Anthony Wade
Sunday - 12:00pm - 1:30pm
This class will be intermediate/advanced contemporary. It will be a full body experience that mixes multiple genres into one class experience.
Hannah Anderson
Sunday - 12:00pm - 1:30pm
This modern class draws heavily from Limón, Graham, and Taylor techniques. Throughout this energetic and detailed class, Hannah focuses on emphasizing musicality, connectivity in the body and achieving aesthetic through feeling. It is a comprehensive and positive class environment!
